Little owl decides to go out in the world to find out, who he is. He meets a long eared owl, who eats bud of leaves. Little owl does not want to do that.

Next the little owl meets a long clawd gigantic owl, and an owl with a long furry tail. Owl can not be like either of them and he returns home. There his mother shows him that owls fly and the little owl learns to be himself.

 The animal that the little owl thinks is a long eared owl is a rabbit, the others are a bear and a squirrel. Nice story about how to be true to yourself. The illustrations are very natural and life like.
